Mt. Zion Seed Cooperative
A true mom-and-pop seed cooperative working to put living, open-pollinated genetics into as many hands as possible — right now through a Million Seed Giveaway.
Who Mt. Zion is
Mt. Zion Seeds (Mt Zion Grow and Consulting) is a small, family-run seed cooperative — founded by a husband-and-wife team who still run it themselves. They ship within the US & Canada, and all sales are final. Their breeding work centers on Crafty Fox Grex, an open-pollination library refined over more than fifteen generations and drawing on 500+ hybrids and landraces — Kona Gold, Malawi, Blue Dream, SFV OG and Papaya Sorbet among them. Alongside the grex packs sit their Zion Train lines, sample packs and bulk deals, all aimed at growers who save seed and select their own.
The Million Seed Giveaway
Mt. Zion is giving away 1,000,000 free seeds through December 11, 2026. In their own words on the giveaway page: "UPDATE: THE NEW DEADLINE IS NOW DECEMBER 11TH. 2026." — the giveaway deadline was extended. Their framing for the giveaway: "seed sovereignty" — get the genetics out, let people plant them, save them and pass them forward. Here is how the giveaway tiers work:
| How you take part | Free seeds |
|---|---|
| Claim a free seed pack — you only pay shipping | 50 free seeds |
| Any paid order under $100 | 100 free seeds |
| Any paid order over $100 | 250 free seeds |
One giveaway per customer. The giveaway seeds are Crafty Fox Grex.
Names on the packs
